I don’t think I ever set out to create a beauty school that was DIFFERENT on Purpose.

Honestly, I didn’t plan for any of this.

Life has a way of changing your trajectory.

I was a young guy who went down to Florida on an impromptu trip, taking a break from my time at Georgetown. I met Debby in a parking lot outside her sister’s workplace. There was nothing strategic about it. No grand plan. Just a moment that changed everything.

We raised three daughters, and each of them carries a piece of their mother’s spirit. That spirit lives here too. It’s woven into this school.

I went on to build a career in software sales. That was the path. Corporate world. Technology. Business.

But Debby was wired differently.

She was deeply creative and often misunderstood because of it. She saw art everywhere — in people, in places, in the smallest details most of us would miss.

Beauty to her was not surface level. It was expression. It was identity. It was confidence.

When she passed away from cancer at just 51 years old, it changed me. You don’t lose someone like that and stay the same.

Debutantes School of Beauty was never about creating something different just to stand out. It was about honoring her.

✨ Support and mentorship because most people just need someone to believe in them.

We teach hair, skin, nails, lashes, and makeup.

And yet it’s more.

It is the beauty of people realizing their full potential and becoming who they were meant to be. It is confidence growing in real time. It is doing all of it together.

I loved a woman who changed my life.

When she was gone, I wanted her creativity, her passion, and her belief in people to keep going.

That’s what Debutantes is.
