COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR
Debutantes School of Beauty is looking for a Cosmetology Instructor who wants to do more than teach from a textbook.
Our students learn best when they are guided by educators who bring real industry experience into the classroom and student salon. We are looking for someone who understands the technical side of cosmetology, values hands-on learning, and enjoys helping students grow in both skill and confidence.
At Debutantes, education is collaborative. We value healthy discussion, new ideas, and educators who are willing to keep learning alongside their students and colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong foundation in cosmetology and hair care
- Ability to demonstrate modern techniques and industry best practices
- Experience in cosmetology education, teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring
- Commitment to high-quality customer service and client care
- Current cosmetology instructor license or eligibility in the state of Illinois
- Prior salon or spa experience preferred
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support diverse learners in a respectful and inclusive environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort with basic technology for instruction, scheduling, and documentation
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
